Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 21, 2026.

Thank you for visiting our website www.arceye.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about you when you use our website and purchase our products.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following types of information when you visit our website or purchase our products:

Personal Information: We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it - for example, your email address when you sign up to hear when the store opens, and your name, shipping address, and payment details when you place an order at checkout.

Non-Personal Information: We may collect non-personal information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and website usage data through privacy-first, cookieless analytics (see Cookies and analytics below).

2. Cookies and analytics

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data.

The only data stored on your device is what the site needs to work: your shopping cart is kept in your browser's local storage, and if you sign in, a session cookie keeps you signed in. These are essential to the service and are not used to track you.

We measure site traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and cookieless. It reports aggregate figures such as page views, referring sites, and approximate visitor location (by country), without cookies, fingerprinting, or any tracking of individuals across sites.

When you use our rig builder, we record anonymous, aggregate usage of the configurator - for example the range of camera counts and the equipment options selected - so we can improve the tool. This is tied only to a temporary, randomly generated session identifier that exists in your browser's memory for that visit and is never stored on your device or linked to you. It contains no personal information.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To process and fulfill your orders for our products.

To improve and optimize our website and user experience.

To communicate with you regarding your orders or inquiries.

To send you product news and updates, if you have signed up for them. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

4. Information sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we share it with third parties only to operate the store:

We share order and shipping details with carriers to deliver your order.

Payment is processed by Stripe. Your card details are handled by Stripe under its own privacy terms; we never see or store full card numbers.

We may also disclose information where required by law.

5. Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights and data retention

We keep order and tax records for as long as the law requires, and other personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing contact@arceye.com, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.

7. Third-party links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

8. Updates to this privacy policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any updates.
